Part of the whole self improvement process is driven by setting your personal development goals so that you have a target to hit.
You may want to set goals and pin them to the wall so that they are clearly visible to you throughout the day and in this way your goals are always present in your mind.
Alternatively you can convey your goals through affirmations, just remember that the affirmation vision should be in the present ie. say to yourself "Now that I have achieved........."
The message here is that different people use different ways to achieve their personal development goals.
Whatever your preferred way for communicating you goals to yourself, remind yourself about the law of attraction. If you want it badly enough and you work continuously towards your goal, you really can achieve it.
